So TS Fay has Jacksonville on alert. Usually it wouldn’t be that big of a deal for us, but because of possible power outages, we actually have to be prepared. With Elicia being vent dependent and just having alot of medical equipment that requires power, we may have to evacuate.

We live in such a high-stressed, hyper-sensitive, irritable society that we easily blow gaskets on things that doesn’t even matter or when things don’t seem to go our way (exactly the way we wanted)… When was the last time you’ve shown kindness without expecting anything in return?

Five-year old students are learning to read.
Yesterday one of them pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said,
‘Look at this! It’s a frickin’ elephant!’
The teacher took a deep breath, then asked…’What did you call it?’
‘It’s a frickin’ elephant! It says so on the picture!’
And so it does…

no nurse tonight…again…surprise surprise! the new nurse they assigned to us for tuesday/fridays totally flaked! she decided that since she didn’t show up last friday night that she’ll just take on another case with another nursing agency….hmmm…
I’m not even gonna vent…hey at least they gave me 3 hrs notice versus calling me an hour after [...]

No nurse again! This time I had to call 2x times before someone returned my call an hour AFTER a nurse was supposed to be in my home. sheesh! i’m sooooooo sleeeeeepy, gotta stay awake…LA LA LA LA even soda isn’t keeping my eyes open…
